Leadership Quote of the Day: Mon February 14, 2011

I hope this morning is the beginning of a profitable week for everyone.  I would like to start today's leadership quote off with a short, but utterly brilliant line of words.

"Happiness and moral duty are inseparably connected."

Who else coined this phrase other than the United States greatest president, George Washington.  What Washington understood completely was that character and integrity were the greatest achievements a man could possess in his lifetime.  Rather than money or fame he understood that having strict moral principles, and an unwavering conscience would guide him into a leadership role. In Washington's life he would realize this would come true.  Any man who is known for his ethical behavior and moral aptitude is a man who is also known for his spotless character.  And that is a man (or woman) fit to lead.
